Welcome to holiday home ‘Butterflies’, a cosy, detached property for up to 5 guests, located on a quiet and green holiday park just outside Simpelveld. Our house has three bedrooms and is furnished with great care and attention to detail. Do you enjoy atmosphere, comfort and tranquillity? Then you will feel at home here straight away. Inside you will find books, magazines and board games for a relaxing evening. On sunny days, enjoy complete privacy on one of the three terraces surrounding the house. Perfect for a weekend break or a longer holiday in the Netherlands.

Butterflies is a detached holiday home for 5 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 terraces, situated in a peaceful, car-free area of the park. Only occasionally will a walker pass by via a nearby access gate leading to the adjacent nature reserve. Privacy is guaranteed.

Layout

Ground floor:

• One bedroom with a double bed

• One bedroom with a single bed

First floor:

• One bedroom with two single beds

All bedrooms offer ample storage space.

Facilities

Free Wi-Fi via a private modem, flatscreen TV, central heating, stereo with radio/CD/Bluetooth.
Bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin unit and washing machine.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge, separate freezer compartment, combination microwave/oven, Senseo coffee machine, and plenty of crockery and glassware.
Also available: books, magazines, board games and drawing supplies.

Outdoor area

Three terraces (two with garden furniture), parasol, high chair, travel cot (up to approx. 2.5 years), and storage space for 2–3 bicycles.
Parking and loading/unloading are possible at approximately 50 metres from the house. One car per property is allowed on the park; additional cars must be parked outside the barriers.

Not permitted: pets, smoking and events. Park regulations apply.

Arrival & practical information

Keys can be collected at the park reception. Late check-in is no problem; in that case, the keys will be placed in a key safe. You will receive the relevant information via WhatsApp the day before arrival.
Please note: one car per property is allowed on the park.

Simpelveld & surroundings

Simpelveld is located in the heart of the rolling hills of South Limburg and is a charming village with all facilities for daily shopping. It is an excellent base for trips to Valkenburg, Gulpen, Vijlen, Vaals, Epen and Maastricht. Right next to the park you can board the nostalgic Miljoenenlijn steam train, a fun experience for young and old alike. Aachen, Liège and the picturesque town of Monschau are also within easy reach. Lovers of peace, nature, walking and cycling will enjoy this area in every season, with the atmospheric Christmas markets of Valkenburg and Aachen as a winter highlight.
